Prepping For the shoot
Drawing a blank when it comes to what you should wear to a shoot? Well lets see! What’s the “vibe” you’re going for? Try and picture your dream photoshoot and we’ll break down how that came together. Let’s say it’s at the beach. Are you wanting a more laid-back session sitting in the sand just relaxing and talking, or are you wanting to run through the waves and get more candid? Or maybe even a mix of both! Either way, less is more! And by that I mean less bright colors, less patterns, and less going on. In my opinion, simple, warm, neutral colors with little or no patterns tend to photograph best and go with my editing style to make it all come together. However, when it comes down to it I believe you should wear what you feel most confident in because that is when the pictures will be truly genuine.
I’ll give you some ideas on great outfits to wear for shoots down below and you can always email me, I’d LOVE to help!

Nuetral/Warm Colors
Let’s make YOU pop-not your clothes. Neutral colors keep your clothes from attracting all the attention, and instead make you the star of the photo.
-
all about the details
Whether it’s capturing your gorgeous engagement ring or the flatlays for your wedding, details add so much to a photo. With that being said, let’s switch out those hair ties for a bracelet you never get to wear. Trust me, it’ll be worth it.

Coordinate
Matching isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. However, I do suggest wearing outfits that coordinate with each other in order for the photo to flow. If one of you wants to wear an item with a design or more than one color, I would suggest the other wear something more plain!

Confidence is key
At the end of the day, your true emotions will show through the lens. Wear what you feel your best in. Confidence is key.
